Coronavirus Update

New policy update - see below

We have amended our policy per the current government guidelines and advice from our respective professional bodies:

  • Due to these current guidelines and advice, we are unable to fully open our clinics, however, over the past few weeks, we have been treating emergency patients. We are now starting to treat critical patients too. Critical patients are those for whom no treatment could potentially cause other health issues. It is anticipated that we will be offering treatments to non-critical cases in due course, once it has been deemed safe to do so.
  • Every week, we are contacting those patients who have pre-booked appointments up to 7 days ahead to clinically assess your need for treatment. Several of you have cancelled or had your appointments cancelled by us. We will continue to review those cancelled appointments so that anyone who subsequently falls into the 'critical' category can be seen. For any of our other current patients, if you feel that you have a critical foot health problem, please call our Henfield Clinic on 01273-493467, or email us at Please note that our reception is only currently open from 9-11 am, Monday to Friday. If you are unable to speak to us and require a more prompt response, please contact NHS online by clicking this link, or if you have a medical emergency, please dial 999
  • If you have an appointment, you should only arrive at the allotted time. If you arrive early, we may not allow you to come into clinic due to the social distancing measures we have been asked to observe. On entering the clinic, we will ask you to apply some hand sanitiser and to wear a pair of protective gloves that we will provide. We would also ask you to please arrive with a protective mask. Rest assured that your practitioner will be appropriately attired to protect both you and him/her
  • If you think you might have COVID-19, we will not treat you, and you must arrange to have a test The main symptoms of COVID-19 are a new dry continuous cough, high temperature, and loss or change to your sense of taste or smell. Further information is available by clicking this link
  • Please be safe and stay well - we would urge you to stay at home wherever possible, observe the social distancing guidelines and follow good hygiene routines
Our only priority right now is to ensure that we minimise any risks to your health, the health of your families and others and our own well-being.
